Samaritan's Cupboard is a monthly ministry of Iva First Wesleyan Church where food is distributed to those in need after a thirty minute worship service communicating the transforming power of Jesus Christ. We believe that God has taught us to care for the needs of others and also that "Man does not live on bread alone" (Matt. 4:4). Therefore we believe it is our responsibility to care for both the physical and spiritual needs of those who come for help.

If you would like to receive food Samaritan's Cupboard happens on the fourth Saturday of every month at 6:30 P.M. There will be a short thirty minute worship service and afterwards food will be distributed one box per household.  Food is distributed on a first come first served basis. You will recieve a numbered ticket as you arrive for the worship service.

If you would like to donate food or volunteer at our services please contact our Samaritan's Cupboard coordinator Joe Sharpe at 864-314-3084.

The next Samaritan's Cupboard service will be on Saturday, January 23, 2010, at 6:30PM.
